We are seeking volunteers for the following assignments:

Grant Writer:

We are seeking a volunteer Grant Writer to research and identify viable grant opportunities as well as to prepare and submit grant applications, letters of inquiry and formal proposals accordingly. Also, to research potential partners and sponsors with whom AlliancExchange can collaborate. You will work in collaboration with the Board of Directors, social/traditional media experts, and marketing coordinator on various projects.

 

We ask that you be disciplined and committed to completing projects within requested time frames.  We need a self-starter, detail oriented, with excellent written and oral communications skills. Your availability is taken into consideration. Ability to work on your own with intermittent group meetings expected.  Previous experience and/or exposure to grant writing for other non-profit organizations a must.   

This will be an ongoing need for AlliancExchange. 
 

 

Marketing Coordinator:

We are seeking a creative, energetic, and self-confident marketing coordinator to help in:

Special Events:

Promote, prepare for, attend, and follow up on special events for AlliancExchange and its partners.

Alliance Development 

Research and identify partner and sponsor possibilities

Marketing Guru 

·        Prepare internal marketing reports,

·        Support online marketing efforts,

·        Prepare media kits for potential partners,

·        Assist with community outreach

Work with Marketing & Communications team and Team Leader of Volunteers.  Your availability will be taken into consideration. Prior experience is a plus but not required.
 

 

Social Media Marketer/Blogger   

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Marketer who really understands the medium, who can 

• research 
• evaluate 
• and create different areas of social media to include video sharing, 
• the creation/maintenance of a blog, 
• generate effective online fundraising activities, 
• and propose additional avenues of outreach. 

No set length of commitment.  It will be ongoing until organization leaders have a good grasp of how to use social media.

 

 

Media Strategist 

We are seeking a Media Strategist to: 

·        Update and refine our database of media contacts

·        Research new and traditional media outlets,

·        Prepare press releases,

·        Create media kits—packets of background information to
distribute to journalists at events and to put on our website.

Social Media knowledge a plus.
