Oscar
is thirteen years old
and lives in the province of Napo, Rio Blanco community. His family
is an active partner of the Rio Blanco community. Oscar has six
siblings who are supported by the meager means of their farm. Oscar
is in eighth grade attending Fisco Misional “Father Ottonino
Todescato” of the Ahuano parish.

| Breny
is sixteen years old and
lives in the province of Napo, Rio Blanco Community. Her parents
Licuy Wake and Samuel are separated and, currently, Breny is living
with her father and four siblings. She attends “Technological
Institute Tena” and is very firm that she wants to continue her
education. |

Jairo
is a boy of thirteen, living in the province of Napo in the Galeras
community. His parents, Miguel and Antonia, have very limited
economic means as they rely on the income of their small farm and
the community’s tourism. In 2007, he began his eighth year of
education at the
Colegio Unidad
Educativa Fisco –Misional Experimental a Distancia Napo extensión
Galeras.

Veronica
is a girl of sixteen
who lives in the province of Napo; the Rio Blanco community. She
has 10 siblings, all of whom are supported by the family farm and
Rio Blanco tourism. She is very proud of her technical drawing
skills and artistic abilities, achieving first place recognition in
her school. This year she is studying in her new school
“Technological Institute Tena in the City of Tena”.

Llver
is from the parish of
Ahuano, province of Napo; community of Rio Blanco. He is a boy of
sixteen whose parents are very active in the community, although
struggling economically solely from the proceeds of their farm and
the community’s tourism program. He has six siblings. He currently
lives in Tena and must pay for room and board, so he can attend
“Technological Institute Tena in the City of Tena where mathematics
is his educational focus.

Franklin
is fifteen years old
and the son of Martha. He currently attends “Technological
Institute Tena" and he is currently living in the home of a family
friend. He hopes to obtain a certificate in furniture carpentry.
