Habitat House Plan for Guayas community.
Alliance for Cultural & Economic Exchange, Inc. and the Greater Lawrence Habitat for Humanity are partnering for the construction of houses in the province of Guayas, near the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador.  The Greater Lawrence Chapter has tithed $5,000 to Habitat Ecuador's Women Building Hope, a special project where women will build houses for women heads of households.  The goal of this project is to construct five houses in 2004 at a total cost of $25,000.  Greater Lawrence's tithe of $5,000 will build one of the five houses!  We wish to thank The Greater Lawrence Chapter for their partnership with AlliancExchange in helping provide assistance to those burdened by poverty worldwide and especially to the citizens in Ecuador.

For more information about this mission, contact us at info@alliancexchange.org or go directly to
the Habitat website

Project Women Building Hope was established to address the problem of inadequate living conditions in Ecuador by providing resources to women who are unable to secure credit.  Your monetary support directly impacts the project and helps to satisfy three vital objectives articulated by Habitat Ecuador: improving lives, participation of society in confronting the challenge of poor housing, and the collection of sufficient resources.
