The Board of Directors of
Alliance for Cultural & Economic Exchange, Inc. was overjoyed and honored to
receive a grant of $3,000 from the Association of Ecuadorians in New England
(AENI) in April 2007 to support secondary education for the school children
of Rio Blanco community, Napo Province, Ecuador. Since September 2003,
AlliancExchange has been bringing school supplies to Rio Blanco. In October
2004 we presented our first grant of $1500 to be used to support secondary
education and other needs of school children and their families in the Rio
Blanco community. Since then we have been awarding $1500 annually to Rio
Blanco for the growth and development of their next generation of emerging
leaders. AENI’s grant of $3,000 allows us to begin to pursue our larger
dream: that every child in the rainforest has the opportunity to pursue and
complete his or her secondary education.

The AENI/Alliance Exchange partnership will allow us to make the first
giant steps together in pursuing this dream.
The Board of Directors of AlliancExchange is thankful to AENI for its
commitment to the children of Ecuador and for putting their trust in us to
help them further their mission. We are so pleased that we have this
opportunity to work together with AENI in achieving this dream and both our
missions. |
